Job Title: Healthcare Accounts Receivable Specialist – Full Time
Location: Brandermill Woods, Midlothian, VA
Brandermill Woods, a premier retirement community, is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Healthcare Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Accounting team. If you have experience in long-term care billing and enjoy working with a mission-driven team, we’d love to meet you!
What You’ll Do:
- Process monthly resident billing and maintain accurate records
- Post charges, prepare deposits, and reconcile monthly reports
- Support insurance verification, long-term care reimbursement, and Medicaid processes
- Respond to resident and family billing inquiries with professionalism and care

Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in long-term care billing or healthcare AR with knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid billing requirements and EHR systems such as PointClickCare or similar platforms
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently
