Bon Secours is seeking a Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to join our compassionate behavioral health team at Rappahannock General Hospital. Details:
- No weekend call!
- Average daily inpatient census ~6 patients
- Manage 3-4 consults on the med/surg unit monthly
- Provide high-quality psychiatric care to 14-16 patients per day
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and manage treatment plans for adult and/or geriatric patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Collaborate with other psychiatrists, NPs, social workers, nurses and primary care providers.
- Participate in treatment team meetings and discharge planning.
- Offer consultation liaison to support to medical surgical units as needed.
- Document and maintain accurate patient records.
- Deliver care through a mix of in-person and telepsychiatry.
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Requirements:
- BC/BE Psychiatry
- Eligible for Virginia licensure
