Covenant Woods in Hanover County is looking for a Full-Time Assisted Living Manager to supervise our Assisted Living and Memory Support neighborhoods.

The Assisted Living Manager assumes responsibility for directing unit operations and evaluating nursing care for all residents (i.e. assure that all required documentation is completed in a timely fashion, assesses admissions as needed, serves as a clinical resource to the nursing staff, etc.) Utilizes effective communication skills to collaborate with residents, families and staff.
Some Essential Duties:
Reports condition changes to physician, DON and family.
Maintains regulatory compliance through chart audits, interviewing staff and environmental rounds.
Assures timely and accurate completion of ISPs and UAIs and completes all required documentation in a timely, thorough and accurate manner.
Coordinates ISPs with Interdisciplinary team and families.
Manages the Memory Care Neighborhood and partners with the Dementia Coordinator on best practices.
Specifications and Requirements:
Minimum of (1) year experience preferred in assisted living, long term care or hospital industries or experience/exposure to the senior population.
College degree in a healthcare related field and management experience; licensed nurses considered.
Minimum (1) year supervisory and management experience including hiring staff, coaching, performance management, daily operations supervision, discipline, and counseling.
Demonstrates proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) and Covenant Woods applications with the ability to learn new applications.
Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours and be available for our customers at peak service delivery days and times.
